From the pasture, you'll take in sweeping valley views and mountain peaks while the soothing roar of Brown Creek winds through the property below. Private Mini Moo is designed to be more than an animal encounter — it's a chance to slow down, breathe deeper, recharge, and make memories surrounded by fluffy cows, gentle farm friends, forests, water, and some of the most peaceful scenery imaginable.

• 🍼 Baby moo cuddles, kisses & bottle-feeding
  Get up close with our smallest Highland babies for cuddles, scratches, kisses and, when we have bottle babies, one of everyone's favorite moments: bottle-feeding.
• 🌾 Mingle with the mini herd
  This is not a quick walk-by petting zoo visit. Spend meaningful time hanging out with our mini cows and calves, loving on them, feeding them, brushing them and getting to know their individual personalities.
• 🐑 Spend time with the Howe Ranch family
  Along the way, mingle with our lambs, mini goats, donkeys, lop bunnies and Dolly the emu.
• 📷 Storybook photo moments
  The ranch itself becomes part of the experience, with beautiful natural photo opportunities among the pasture, evergreens, creek, mountain views and storybook architecture.
• 🫏 Optional creekside donkey stroll
  When conditions allow, enjoy a leisurely stroll with one of our donkeys alongside Brown Creek.

Make It a Half-Day Escape

Your facilitated animal experience lasts up to 1½ hours, but there's no need to rush away afterward.

Guests are welcome to spend up to another 1½ hours enjoying the ranch independently — take on our legendary scavenger hunt, wander upcreek, meditate, explore the peaceful surroundings, take photos, or simply slow down and enjoy being somewhere beautiful.

That means your Private Mini Moo visit can become a relaxed half-day experience — part animal adventure, part mountain escape, and exactly the kind of place where you can unplug, recharge, and leave with a very full camera roll and an even fuller heart.
