Our second visit. I know the Howe family is moving the ranch to Montana. I'm sure they will make their new ranch as special as this one. Good luck! A wonderful experience with baby Highland cows, goats, llamas and other animals. Such friendly and knowledgeable staff! We learned about the different animals as we petted and interacted with them. There were snacks, crafts and a scavenger hunt as well. A very special evening. We will definitely come again! We will miss you Bisci and Spencer!

Absolutely love it here!!! There’s full size mini cows, baby mini cows, and lots of other super cute and friendly animals. I wish I could come here more often. The staff and owners are super super kind and informative too!! I’ve come back to add photos!! Also sad to hear they’re moving to Montana, but now that means we’ll have to make a trip there haha

Amazing experience. Lots of activities. Very family friendly but perfect for date night. If you get lucky and can land a pool event make sure you bring some trunks and hop in the water!

RED WHITE AND MOO! I’ve never been so up close to such small and adorable (and very clean) coos. The pool and refreshments were a perfect remedy for the hot sun and the staff was friendly as all get out. Worth the drive for sure!
We came for the Red white and Moo event and it was So much fun! The animals are so sweet (with the exception of one grumpy goat- iykyk) crew is amazing and so informative. The scavenger hunt is surprisingly hard but a fun competition with your group. Would 100% come back!

Went in for the fourth of july event, they are extremely hospitable and created such a fun event for everyone. Hosted at their private farm but made us feel like we’ve known everyone forever. Highly recommend!
Amazing experience petting mini highland cows and other farm animals. The scavenger hunt and refreshments was a great addition and surprise. The club room was great to get away from the heat! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will do it again.

We loved this place. Such a great time. Haley was our animal greeter. She sure does love those animals. Bixi and Spencer have created a charming place that is very relaxing. Definetly worth the visit. The homemade lemonade is the best in So. Cal.

This place is amazing. We got to pet baby cows and I held a chicken. There were goats and plenty of photo opportunities. They are moving to Montana soon, so get out here now. Once they go to Montana it might be a great opportunity for a road trip.
Really great experience! We got to play with baby cows, feed an emu, take pictures with all the animals, and relax with refreshments! The team was very helpful and made the experience fun.

This Farm is hand down so cute. Went here for a birthday event. I must say I am infatuated with Highland cows. Theres also emus, goats and, donkeys. Most definitely come stop by and come visit before they move to Montana end of this year. Little sad to see them go but most definitely a life-time experience! Also, huge thank you to the staff! They're so friendly and made the experience even more uplifting!
Great experience with cows, lambs, chickens, ducks, and goats. We opted in for the included photography package, which was well worth it! The staff were knowledgeable about all the animals and care. The other activities and refreshments were nicely laid out and we were made to feel welcome throughout.

My partner and I decided to give the Howe ranch a visit for our anniversary. It was a magical and healing experience. There is a variety of animals that you can meet, and I even had the pleasure of meeting a special kitty name Mink. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend.
Me and my partner had an amazing time at the Howe Ranch! Every animal is loved and taken good care of! We had 3 photos taken by the on-site photographer allowing us to take photos with the adult and baby highland cows! I will definitely be back to see them again! If you missed Christmas and then Valentine's Day, have no fear - every day is a wonderful celebration at this amazing ranch. I have never seen people go so all out to make a fun-filled adventure. Decorations galore, lots of activities, people-friendly animals, treats to eat. It is an adventue bar none. I went alone after my extended family raved about it, and was so glad that I didn't miss out. Great for families, couples or just you. I live in Orange County and made it there in just over an hour. There are no more special animals than the Highland Cows of Scotland (hairy coo to them), and getting a heifer sized hug from a Highland baby.
Oh my goodness! There are the cuties baby highland cows I have ever seen in my life!!! They are so fluffy!!! We came for the valentine’s celebration! My daughter got a staffed highland cow animal as a prize for cookie decoration contest winner!! So well organized and the whole ranch is so beautifully decorated!! Highly recommend for a visit!!!

I booked a private mini moo experience for my family and I ,the experience was well worth it! Being able to touch and cuddle cows so small and personal was therapeutic . Haley gave a great tour. Pipie and Mooley were my favorites! There were bestie llamas, energetic goats, chill donkeys, and chickens . Definitely recommend 10/10
I originally had the day booked for my girlfriend to come out but she devastatingly caught the flu and did not want to risk the animals nor the staff. I decided to bring a family member to use the pass with me instead and all I have to say is, now I know why she’s obsessed with these specific cows. They’re absolutely adorable and fuzzy! The staff was extremely welcoming and had so much to do from crafts, photo opportunities, interactions with cows, alpacas, and goats. I’m definitely brining my girlfriend back on Valentine’s Day to experience this unforgettable place.

What a hidden gem!!! My family & I came here for their Winter Wonderland event & it was soooo darling! From the mini highland cows, to the incredible details on the decor, to the incredibly friendly staff, this place is amazing! We had a great time & can't wait to come back.

What more can be said about one of the best venues in the United States. World Class Parking. World Class Staff. Bathrooms with no lines. Concessions with no lines. All during one of the best attended NFL games of the 2025 season. If you have the means, I recommend you partake.
I attended the Winter Wonderland at Howe Ranch with a friend. It was really sweet! Homespun, with lots of fun activities, snacks and decorations. The ranch hands were all friendly and informative and of course the animals were adorable. We got to pet nearly all of them and get lots of good photos. I would recommend this to families and animal lovers of all ages.

We had the BEST time at Howe Ranch yesterday. We drove out from Ventura not really knowing what to expect, and we ended up falling in love with every animal there — the cows, goats, llamas, donkeys… We got to see Santa, Mrs. Claus, and Elsa, and every single person working there was so kind and helpful. I would 100% make the drive again. Totally worth it!

The Highland cow petting zoo was absolutely adorable — the animals were friendly, clean, and clearly well cared for. 🐮 The scavenger hunt was creative and kept the kids entertained the whole time, and the craft stations were a huge hit. Everything was well organized, with friendly staff and a festive Halloween atmosphere. 🎃 We loved all the cute photo ops and little details that made it feel special. I had such an amazing time with my family here! The tour was great, and the staff were very very friendly. The cows looked well maintained as did the rest of the animals. We got to bottle feed, as well as feed the other animals alfalfa and pellets. The staff was educational as well, the whole place had such a great vibe and I would totally go again just to hang out with the animals. You can tell that they care about the animals as well as the people that choose to come! Thank you Howe ranch for a great experience!

I came across this ranch online, immediately peaked my interest, and made my reservation same day. Come the day of the reservation and it was so much more than we had expected and hoped for. The animals were absolutely precious, hospitality was wonderful, atmosphere welcoming, and extra amenities alongside the animals were a treat. A huge thank you to those at Howe Ranch, we'll definitely be coming back!

We had the BEST time at Howe Ranch! This place is the perfect mix of relaxation, fun, and family-friendly activities. The petting zoo was such a highlight—clean, well-kept, and filled with friendly animals. We loved feeding the goats and petting the mini cows, and it was clear the animals are well-cared for and happy. The swimming pool area was just as impressive. It was sparkling clean, with plenty of seating and shaded areas for parents to relax while the kids splashed around. The water was a comfortable temperature. What really made the day special was how organized and welcoming everything felt. Staff were warm and helpful, the restroom by the pool was clean, and there were plenty of spots to grab a snack or cool off. Whether you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids, a place to relax, or a spot to host an event, the Howe Ranch is the place! We can’t wait to come back!

They were very friendly, taught us a lot about the animals, and provided homemade lemonade, snacks, snow cones, and even wine. My kids won cute prizes for completing the scavenger hunt. It was a really fun day.

I was taken here by a friend for my birthday and absolutely had the best time ever. Got to cuddle cows and cuddle goats a long with funny alpacas. Especially wendy, she was so funny to interact with. I will definitely be back and hopefully I can do a private event here. Also, the pool area is super nice. The snow cones are absolutely delicious... i give this more than five stars
I can't say enough wonderful things about our visit to Howes Ranch! A friend recommended this hidden gem, so I decided to book a private tour for my family and what a fantastic decision that was! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. They even remembered it was my birthday and had a thoughtful present waiting for me. The animals are absolutely adorable and so friendly! Every single one seemed to have their own personality, and you could tell they're all well-loved and cared for. Honestly, if I could have stayed all day just hanging out with all the animals, I would have in a heartbeat. Thank you to everyone at Howes Ranch for making our visit so incredibly memorable!

We visited the Howe Ranch and it did NOT disappoint! The staff was friendly and informative… and oh so welcoming! We had a wonderful conversation with Bixi about ranch and its amenities. It’s beautifully maintained and has a wonderful event space with majestic views. I showed the pictures from our visit to my elderly parents… guess where we’re going next week with them?!

The property is beautifully maintained, and the love and care they pour into their animals is evident from the moment you arrive. The mini Highland cows are beyond adorable — gentle, friendly, and so well-socialized. Whether you’re looking to take photos, learn more about the breed, or just enjoy some quality time with these sweet creatures, this boutique delivers it all. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they truly love their animals and are committed to creating a positive experience for guests. I left with a full heart and a phone full of the cutest photos. Can’t recommend this place enough for families, couples, or anyone who needs a little extra joy in their life!

We have stayed at Howe Ranch over the holidays twice now. Spencer and Bixi are fantastic and accommodating hosts. We have had just the right amount of privacy during each of our visits. Their entire ranch is decked out for the holidays and seems to improve year to year. We love how festive it feels and that we get the opportunity to hang out with the animals (goats, cows, donkeys, alpacas, chickens, and ducks)! There are a variety of places to spend time, including the suite, hot tub, club room, and bistro--which is always well-stocked. Bixi and Spencer are so sweet and even offered to make us a weekend brunch. The fresh eggs from the ranch were incredible. We can't wait to return!
What a gem! We booked a private tour to cuddle and feed the highland cows. All of the animals were so friendly and adorable. The hosts were very kind and informative. We spent about 2.5 hours there and the kids had a blast!

I am absolutely amazed by how amazing this place is!!! We went here for there easter event and I feel is love! We booked them for our wedding and they went above and beyond our expectations. It was soooo beautiful. Our guests loved it soooo much. My husband is a marine and his friends couldn’t make it because they sent them to the field the day before the wedding and they gave us a free party so his friends could come celebrate us getting married. It was so generous of them to do that for us. Bixi is the sweetest and nicest person you’ll ever meet. She helped the threw the whole process of planning the wedding by helping me find the person to do my flowers and cake. She even recommended the best Dj ever!!! If you’re planning a wedding or party I highly recommend them! My kids had so much fun with the animals. I am just so happy I found this place!!!
